The Arbeitskreis für hagiographische Fragen was founded in 1994 and since then has been dedicated to interdisciplinary and international exchange on hagiographic research. While the focus of the working group lies on hagiographic texts and hagiographic discourse, it also deals with questions of religiosity, piety and sacredness. The website of the working group provides information on current events and programmes, reports and information on the publication of past conferences.

Thesaurus der Heiligen
The Thesaurus der Heiligen is part of the “Geschichtsquellen des deutschen Mittelalters“, which provides central information on medieval sources from the German territory. Thus, its focus lies on German saints and lists 296 entries. The entries include information on the opus in which the respective saint is mentioned and – if the author is known – on the author of these opuses. The site provides a useful overview of the handwritten tradition of the works and does also provide links to digitised manuscripts (if available), information on editions, translations and studies of author and/or opus.

Saint Patrick’s Confessio
This website is the first point of contact for information on the Confessio of St. Patrick. It was created as part of the HyperStack Project, a project initiated by the Royal Irish Academy and several other Irish institutions. Their aim is to provide information on the Irish patron St. Patrick by providing access to his works. Accordingly, the website offers St. Patrick´s Confessio, his Epistola in Latin and translations in several modern languages (English, German, Italian etc.). For Medieval Studies, the digitisation of eight manuscripts of the Confessio from the 9th to the 17th century might be very useful as there are five manuscripts from the 11th and 12th century. For the history of reception, the digitisation of the two early modern and the four 20th century prints might be of interest. The website also includes “Special Features” such as scholarly articles, bibliographies and further texts on St. Patrick.
Associazione Italiana San Rocco Di Montpellier
On this site, the Italian Association Saint Roch of Montpellier and the International Centre for Studies on Saint Roch compile information related to Saint Roch both in Roman languages and in English. The section „AGIOGRAFIE“ provides a list of biographical material on the saint from different authors oof the 15th century. Furthermore, the site gives access to transcriptions of its listed sources. While those transcriptions follow the language of the original text, the basic information about the sources themselves are given in some Roman languages and in English.

Bibliothek der Kirchenväter
The Bibliothek der Kirchenväter is a German website, which provides a selection of patristic literature in a German 19th century translation. These revised texts are very useful for a first access to Patristics and are available for reuse (with an appropriate reference). Very useful is the possibility to search for a specific term within the texts provided (more than one hundred) or in the corpora of one author. This makes the Bibliothek der Kirchenväter one of the most important digital points of contact for theological research.
